Online Shopping Addiction And a Burst of Excitment

Hey Guys,

I thought I would share my current top 3 shopping websites asides the normal high street stores we know and love.

I have grown to become how do we say..... quite the online shopping addict.... oops! Alike many its because of the convenience of it and how quick and easy it can be. Therefore here are some which i have spent probably a tad tooo much than i should, but hey ho :)

1. www.joythestore.com (No Current discount)

My first is the a store called 'Joy',  there are only a few stores that i know of one being in Brighton and one in London (correct me if I'm wrong) but there could be more. Anywho i have grown to love this website after coming across it on another blog. It has that simplistic view about it, its a complete contrast in comparison to the likes of Boohoo.com (Even though i love this website too). My favourite pieces are their blouses they do such elegant items (mainly from the Louche range) which are all equally beautiful. I would also say that i believe that there are all different styles for all shapes and styles, so I'm sure there's something for everyone. I would strongly recommend checking it out, i can a sure you it will have some staple autumn/winter items you will love throughout the seasons.

OMG SORRY TO INTERRUPT THIS BLOG POST BUT I HAVE LITERALLY JUST BEEN ASKED TO BE MY FRIENDS MAID OF HONOUR *CRYS* *EEK* *HAPPY*

2. www.missguided.co.uk ( Currently 15% OFF for students with unidays)

This is probably one of my go to clothes shopping websites in the summer. It always has on trend items at reasonable prices, added with the student discount theres no reason to not give it a try. It stocks many items from the likes of 'FashionUnion' and 'AX Paris' which are another two clothing sites where you can get discount with unidays too. I would also highly recommend this website for your Christmas party dresses as they always have some lovely glitzy pieces, with a variety of sizes. I suppose all i can say is .... i never fail when I'm in a panic trying to find a hidden gem with this website. So go give it a check out and tell me what you think :)
P.S.... Check out www.prettylittlething.com (Currently 20% OFF for students with unidays) as if you like miss guided you are sure not to be disappointed with this website as its very girly and sweet in its style.

3. www.ebay.co.uk/Clothes (No discount :( boo, however contact the seller you never know)

I know your thinking ebay really????..... but you can actually find some real bargains on there which are brand new. Especially as there are hundreds of individual boutiques/stores/sellers on the one website.... in a way the choice is endless. I just think if you are a money savvy kind of person or simply just want to save a bit of money and have a nose then give it a go. I recently purchased a pair of winter boots off a seller on the website and everything was so quick and easy... the funny thing is the website was the last place i looked for these boots i had an image of what i wanted in my head but they just didn't seem to exist anywhere......But then they emerged on Ebay and i couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

I hope you have gained something from this post, and will hopefully give one, two or all of them a look at. Sorry for my mid-post excitment, but i couldn't contain myself and I'll always remember when she asked me now :) Anyway guys let me know what you think in the comments below of what you think about the post and if you have any current online store favs atm i would love to know.

.Confidence. Resilience.

Hey guys,

Recently I have had the opportunity to attend a few interviews. Not all I have been successful at mind however they have helped me gain experience and resilience in regards to interviews and dealing with difficult interviewers.

The purpose of this post is to highlight you will at some point come across difficult, rude, domineering people however this is my advice......

Even if it's an interview for a paper round, sales assistant, to attend a new course or to be screened for a competition we are all going to face hardships. Thus  TRY YOUR BEST!
Many interviewers will make you feel less than you are,.... Your not! Your more! If you are knocked back think ok how can I learn from this.... And how can I push forward in a positive manner. TURN IT AROUND! I know this is easier said than done., but think of it in regards to fate if it's not meant to be then there's more than likely something better around the corner. I want you all to stay confident and own your decisions, victories and falls. As you learn from them all.

Own your self and decisions guys and your build your confidence in the process. Ignore the negative Nancy's in life and your be A okay.

Night Everyone

Evening Face Routine¦ Simple Skin Care

Hey Guys,

This is simply just a post of my evening skin care routine its not tooooo long and is quite simple, which is quite funny as i use the simple skin care products. *Laughs to ones self*

Any who... i know there is a 1000000 of these blogs online but i thought i would share mine anyway. I have quite sensitive skin which can dry out in certain areas such as my nose quite randomly. I have never really been one to have post except on that girly time of the month so recently i was quite shocked to be experiencing a problem area which is my chin. However i have found a simple product which has helped greatly with this issue.

Lets Begin...

First up i take up all my make up off using the 'Simple -Kind to Skin Purifying Lotion' (£3.49) with a cotton wool pad i do this gently all over my face taking extra care across the eyes. After this i use the 'Simple - Soothing Facial Toner'(£3.29) to remove any remaining make up or dirt left behind.

Once i have completed this stage i then use the 'Simple - Facial Wash'(£3.49) with warm water to ensure my face is thoroughly clean. I especially like this product as it doesn't dry out your skin which i have found can happen with a lot of other facial washes.

I then use the 'Simple - Oil Balancing Facial Scrub'(£3.99) in only one area of my face daily which is my chin this is because i have recently had an outbreak in this spot. Hence i seeked out this product after browsing the shelves and i can honestly say it has completely cleared my chin from spots. Also weekly i used this all over my face to give it a deeper clean which is from the small beads inside the formula.

After using these four products i then use the 'Simple - Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser'(£6.99) this product has been a stable in my daily make up and facial routine for beyond two years now.

I have settled on this routine after trying various other products within lines such as Olay and Clinque. I can honestly say as a person with very sensitive skin they really do deliver and help against any issues or problems you may have in regards to irritable skin.

All the prices are based on Boots.co.uk website, also another benefit is that the product is always on a 3 for 2 in various places, so is definitely a bargain.

Let me know about your daily face routines and if you think there is anything i could add in to improve mine.

Thanks, Have a lovely Evening

Wish List..... This Coming Autumn

Hey Guys,

I know we are only half way through august and I shouldn't  be wishing it away..... but I must admit I am by far a sucker for the autumnal time! Nothing beats a British tea and biscuit combo... Nom! So I thought I am going to kick it off early and express my wish list for throughout September and end of August of course :) Sooo here is 5 of my... I want/ don't need but I do need items :)

1. Essie 2014 Autumn (Fall) range RRP £7.99 each

I only have a select few from Essie purely because up till recently I was a student and spending a lot on a nail varnish wasn't justifiable. Now however I feel its time to treat myself, and with these colours how can I not. Essie never seizes to amaze me as I have never had my nail varnish chip or lose its shine and colour. Therefore with out a date these colours will be staple not only throughout Autumn but winter too, as always im sure I'll continually go back to them.

2. Topshop - Faux Fur Collar Biker Jacket £58.00
Photo 1 of Tall Faux Fur Collar Biker Jacket
Okay, my addiction.... I know leather jackets have been a staple for some time in 99% of the UK and worlds wardrobes. However I still cannot get enough, I brought one of Topshops Autumn 2013 jackets and LOVED it. However I brought it in a size too big and it looked a little silly if I did not wear it with a thick jumper underneath... so this year I won't make the same mistake! My advice.. leather jackets never go out of fashion and are constantly being redesigned, therefore regardless of your price bracket there is a style and price for everyone...... Lengthy paragraph I'm sorry! love me a jacket!

3. Topshop - Lips in Armour £8.00

Photo 1 of Lips in Armour
I know this is going to sound dated for a lot of bloggers out there, but I have never tried a Topshop lipstick and have decided its a damn offence that I haven't. Therefore my weapon of choice is 'Lips of Armour' purely for the fact I feel like it will be a good colour to see out summer and say hello to autumn.

4. Ripped/Worn Jeans - New Look £27.99

I need to widen my horizon in jeans, I have been a loyal Jack Wills customer for too many years now, therefore I feel I should give other styles of jeans my care and attention. However, I feel like the current trend of Mom/ Boyfriend jeans will never be my 'Thing', however I can definitely say the worn look most certainly is. They are once again appearing this Autumn throughout the high street stores and I will be joining the many in Britain to possibly get cold knee caps.... in aid of our addiction to fashion aye! :)

5. ...........

I think this will be pending... I know it will be for boots... however I am the most indecisive person with this type of footwear. If anyone knows of a brand/ shop/ designer that does flat (literally not heel) boots I BEG OF YOU TO LET ME KNOW! This is a two year search still going on.... lets see if I can find a pair before September ends... Challenge accepted!

Anyway ..... hope you liked my little wish list read! Bit longer than I wanted but hey ho! Everyone enjoy your evening!

Much Love

Abbie

Holly Grail Foundation?? No Way!

Hey Guys,

Been a long time since i have done a post so thought i would tell you guys about my favourite all time foundation. Yes, it maybe be pricey, but i can't help it! It is my one weakness in the make up world!

It is........... M.A.C Studio Sculpt

At £25 many would say it's at the pricier end of the scale, however it does work a charm.

M.A.C claims that it is 'A creamy, luxurious, gel-based foundation that provides medium build-able to high coverage with a natural satin finish. Hydrating, instantly revitalises the skin while keeping it looking smooth, soft and plush. Long-wearing and water-resistant'

I would have to agreed with this statement, as it is easy to apply with fingers or a brush, and simply leaves your face looking flawless. I have found that it stays put all day, and simply on the hotter days maybe a slight powder up during the day may be needed but that is all. Although many have said to me they have had issues with it turning 'cakey' throughout the day, however i have never had this issue so cannot comment on this. I would suggest if blended correctly this issue could more than likely be avoided. Also this could be simply due to the fact if you have oily skin, this would not be the foundation for you as it will simply 'slide' around the face due to being a gel based formula. For oily skin i would recommend M.A.C Studio Fix, if you are interested in trying some of their products.
Overall a little goes a long way with this product, so it sure to last you through the spring and possibly summer months which can be seen as a justifiable reason to pay the £25. Also with such a large range of colours to choose from you are assured to find the right tone for you.

This is a short but sweet review, i will add photos and a longer review to follow soon, when i am free from university and able to put all my time and effort into my blog. I would be more than pleased to here from you bloggers out there so don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks Guys
